We leave towards Toconao. On the way we crossed a Tamarugos forest, a great green contrast in the middle of the desert. Upon arrival, we visit the Bell Tower of San Lucas, a historical monument from the 18th century and we get to know the ancient irrigation canals in the orchards sector. We continue to Chaxa Lagoon, located in the Atacama Salt flat. It has a salt path with observation points for the three species of flamingos and other aquatic birds. Finally, we enjoy the sunset to observe the magnificent peaks of the Andes. Back to the hotel.
