Rainbow Valley

We leave towards the Domeyko Mountain Range to reach Hierbas Buenas, an archaeological site with rock art engraved on the rock (petroglyphs). Important stopping point when the ancient Atacameños moved with their camelids. We continue to visit the Rainbow Valley with its characteristic diversity of minerals and colors. We visit the place on a short walk to learn about minerals from extinct volcanoes and different geological formations. This is a place of great landscape beauty for photography. Finally, we visit the town of Río Grande where we will visit the Church of San Santiago and the streets with buildings of mud, stone, and straw. At the end, we will move along the road to the city of Calama.
