Departure from your hotel to the valley of Mars, named after its orange and red landscapes, and its rocky formations of salt, calcium and dunes similar to the red planet, located in the sector of the salt mountain range, it offers us trails with unique landscapes in the desert. We walk along its interior paths, reaching pristine dunes, and then continue our walk to the viewpoint of the cornice that offers us a magnificent view of the valley with its rock formations and colours of the desert.
Then, we will enter a magical journey along the Salado River, where the San Pedro River is born, fundamental for the millenary survival of the Lickanantai culture. Starting at the iconic Piedra de la Coca (Coca Stone), once a meeting place and refuge for the transhumant groups, we will walk through its drawer enclosed by high rock and salt ravines, which offers unique geological formations, formed by erosion over the years. On its banks we will find native flora and it is also a great opportunity to see the Petroglyphs carved in rock, one of the artistic expressions of the ancient natives that represented their daily activities in the area (3.000 b.c.).
